Saffron Tea


1.5 liters water / 6 tsp black tea / Vi tsp saffron (approx. 25 strands)

4 cardamom pods / sugar or honey to taste Preparation

Bring the water to the boil.  Add saffron and cardamom (only previously crushed seeds). Simmer for 8 minutes.Turn off the heat; add the tea and leave to stand for 5 minutes. Strain and serve.
